When working with companies that sell a tangible product, there are two steps. Before we can market the product, we must tell a story first. Without a story, you have a book with empty pages.
The story is what compels us to buy certain products over others — even if they’re seemingly identical. In Arts Boheme’s case, we didn’t just want to take beautiful pictures of their jewelry and display it on a gorgeous website, we needed to design context. We listened to all of their hopes and dreams for their company, the story of how they began, how they craft their jewelry, why they chose this line of work. From there, we distilled our conversations into a succinct and poignant brand. With the knowledge of these simple elements, we could elaborate further with rich colors, exotic imagery, and an air of worldliness. Now, the jewelry will sell itself.
